Phantom Blade Zero is a single-player campaign with separate co-op dungeon modes — no PvP, no shared open world. Details inside.

The campaign is a solitary journey — multiplayer lives in separate dungeon modes.

Phantom Blade Zero is, at its heart, a single-player game: one 30-40 hour campaign about Soul's 66 days, eight endings, and no other players in your story. But it is not single-player only — S-GAME has confirmed co-operative dungeon modes as standalone content alongside the campaign, plus roguelite-flavored task modes and post-game Boss Rush.

How the online pieces fit

  • Co-op dungeons: separate multiplayer modes detached from the story campaign — you and other players take on combat challenges together
  • Boss Rush: a post-campaign mode for replaying every boss (with hidden exclusive bosses), single-player focused
  • No PvP, no shared world: the semi-open regions of the Phantom World are yours alone; you will not run into other players while exploring

What that means for buyers

If you want a story-driven wuxia action game, that experience is complete without touching any online mode. If you enjoy co-op, the dungeons add a reason to keep the game installed after the credits. Nothing in the campaign requires an internet connection to enjoy — this is not a service game, and there is no gacha or monetization layer behind it.
