Jade Twin Rings — Phantom Blade Zero Primary Weapon

The Jade Twin Rings replace Phantom Blade Zero's dodge with a long-range Ghoststep and thrown heavy attacks — the ranged specialist's primary.

Jade Twin Rings rewrites the rules every other primary follows: equip them and your dodge stops being a dodge. It becomes a white Ghoststep slide with dramatically extended range — a repositioning tool first and an evasion second.
What it does
- Dodge replaced by Ghoststep: long-distance slides that carry you across the arena instead of i-frame hopping in place
- Heavy attacks throw the rings as projectiles — real ranged pressure from a primary weapon
- The trade-off is precise: against enemies whose Killing-intent gauge is not full, thrown rings are blocked harmlessly
The matchup math
The rings' thrown attacks hard-counter exactly one enemy archetype: ranged archers without intent gauges, who eat full damage with no answer. Against gauge-bearing melee, you are playing the slide game — spacing, poking, and execution punishes. Knowledge of the gauge system is mandatory to make this weapon sing.
Who it suits
Spacing players and anyone who wants a primary that fights at three distances. If the slide fantasy appeals but you want melee-first, try the White Python Scarlet Chain; everything else lives in the weapons gallery.
